I'm sorry you feel that way. I had an experience with a nasty poster who basically said I had no idea what I was talking about because I used a term he didn't. It was unpleasant to say the least but I blocked him and it was done. Most posters are wonderful and try their best to be helpful. Many came to my defense in that situation.Being rude was not my intention, but you need to realize that since I started this forum, I have been battered with rude comments, that are not helpful or anything that I can learn from, I will be removing my self from this forum, it was not at all like I expected. I think people use it as soap box to lecture their views. This site was highly recommended so I am very disappointed. I made it clear from the beginning that I was a novice, in hopes that people would understand and not bombard me with the graphic details and hopeless suggestions.
I read through your other posts and what I read was a lot of folks trying to give their opinions on how best to solve your cockerel problem. I understand that you don't want to butcher your cockerels and there is nothing wrong with that. Some folks can do it and some can't. However, when you ask a bunch of chicken folk what to do with extra males the default answer is going to be to butcher. Without knowing you or being told specifically that's not an option they don't know they shouldn't suggest it. I know this is a tough situation for you and finding a solution that works for you isn't going to be easy but I think everyone is jut trying to be helpful.
