Desperate New Duck Mom!!! HELP!

Looks to be crested which means there could be neurological issues. I would def start the Liquid BComplex and being you are a TSC employee your right there where the best one is Durvet injectable but we use it orally, since it’s so tiny I’d try and give it some drops by mouth just inside it’s Bill Let it swallow an do it again. Once up on its feet better go to Hal a ml over its feed just small amount of feed so it gets the whole dose. Too little for mealworms which is a ducks fav treat unless you crush them up. Please let us know how this little one is doing and bless you for caring!
Ms Lydia, Thanks for all your input. Have a quick question b/c I read up on the Crested on this website. It said there is an issue with brain development and a problem with the skull due to breeding.... i did notice this one has a bald spot on it's head when you move the crest or fuzz (what I call it) aside. Just happened to notice when petting it's head. Is this normal or could it be a problem for the little one.

If you can get a pic that may help I’ve never had a created so not sure if that’s normal. And let me tell you also not to give up on this little one even though they can have problems many live good lives too. Hopefully getting this little some Liquid B Complex an starting her on it will help a lot. None of can say she may not have issues but we can sure hope she won’t.

How’s that little one doing this evening? @Rommy. I’d like to rec you get some Vit E 400 iu soft gel. Prick the tip and gently put right in front of the bill and get the little one to take the entire contents. Do this like the b complex very slowly. Vit E can help with neurological issue and support the brain.

I want to thank everyone for their input and advice for the little one; esp. Ms.Lydia! Unfortunately I woke up this morning to find he/she had not made it. It was such a little fighter; it breaks my heart. I had such hope this little one was going to pull through and it def. tried. Again, thanks so much for the help and advice. I will hopefully interact with you again; b/c this has set my heart on a duck! :) God Bless

I'm so sorry, you were there for that little one.:hugs It's a blessing to know there are some at TSC that know what they are doing and care enough to ask. Please consider some ducks they are truly a blessing. Hope to hear from you again soon @Rommy

Ms. Lydia, I need you again; posted this on the emergencie forum and over a half hour and "no" response whatsoever and this little one can't wait too long for me to learn how to help him/her. Got another one; this time it's a baby bantam. Holds it's leg up and the leg is shaking and not sure what is wrong with the leg. Favoring it a whole lot and won't put any weight on it at all. putting a video I took in; please advise how I can help this baby....I know nothing about splints for baby chicks legs esp one so teenie tiny ... following is my post on Emergencies.. Hi folks! I have a baby bantam that we put in the back apart from the others due to a lame leg. (I work at TSC) I brought it home but need some serious advise on how to address the issue with it's little leg...it is soooo tiny :( I don't know what is wrong with it's leg. It holds it out and can't seem to put any weight on it at all. I am going to attempt and post a video I took so you can hopefully see how it favors the leg. Maybe some of you experienced folk can offer some sage advice so I can help this little one. Just lost a little crested duckling I brought home that could not even stand up. Truly hoping I can help this little one.
