Desperate New Duck Mom!!! HELP!

Thank you Miss Lydia, got a splint on but this chicky baby pulled it off... I'm such a novice... may call my vet in the a.m. I have work again tomorrow ... so little worried about leaving it by itself... but will work it out.... Hope going the night with this leg and my not knowing how to tend to it without hurting it ..it is soooo very tiny.... I fear I may make things worse... ...will update tomorrow after talking to the vet

Just an update. this little one did not make it either.... don't know what happened. He/she developed pasty butt as well as having issues with the little leg. Was pretty spunky and just started going down hill and don't know what went wrong.... One thing for certain though, I am not going to attempt to play Dr. DoLittle any longer... just don't know how.... thanks for everyone's input on the duckling and this baby. Thanks much Ms. Lydia!!! Your kindness and input were highly valued and appreciated!
