Detached air cell and saddle cell. How do I set them for lockdown?

Getting ready early. All of my eggs have a deep U shape down the side. Several have a detached air cell as well. With saddle cell you're supposed to put that facing upwards. With the detached air cell that's supposed to go up. Which way should I put them? The cell stays firmly on one side of the egg, but wobbles. I assume it's going to be a high risk hatch all around?


Top pencil line is the air cell, bottom is the saddle cell. Between the lines is where the baby is growing. I know they have a very low hatch rate. I figure it can't hurt to try.

Side note, should I raise the humidity due to air cell size? I'm worried about shrink wrapping.

What is your humidity level at right now? I'd only go as high as 60 to 65% at lockdown.
The penciled marks on the eggs don't look good. From my experince with 'saddled' eggs, none hatched.
I have read here where others have had them hatch....I would just leave them in the bator until the hatch is through....can't hurt.

I've been keeping it at about 40 right now. It keeps dipping over night, though.

Yeah, ALL the eggs are saddle eggs, and loads have loose air cells! Someone needs to tell the post not to play soccer with their boxes. I'm got one I'm feeling pretty good about, though. I'm just not sure how to set the little guy.
