detached airsac at hatching time?

i have eggs in the incubator they are on day 13 in an auto turner i candled on day ten one has a loose airsac but is developing at the normal rate of the others. My question is at lockdown whats the best thing to do with this egg? lay it down or try hatching in an egg carton? i have never tried egg carton hatch would that help?

Mama Chickens hatch their eggs laying on the side. I never thought of trying to improve on her method.

mama chickens don't disrupt their air cells either though!

i hatch my shipped eggs upright in a carton. i just had a speckled sussex with a detached air cell hatch this morning and i have 2 bcm with the same issue zipping as we speak!

Can someone show me what a detached airsac looks like?
I have never seen one and would like to know what to look out for.

A "detached" air cell is really a ruptured air cell. The membrane gets broken, and the air bubble is free-floating. It's not really a separated 'cell', it's just a free air pocket. When you candle the egg, you can see the bubble move around when you tilt the egg.
