I have a Cochin who is broody, and two of her eggs hatched today. I've never had eggs hatch before. The first one looks healthy, but it looks like there is something sticking out of the navel, but I'm going to leave it because I think it's normal, but the other one was having trouble hatching, so I helped it get out of the egg, and now I wish I hadn't, because I think the yolk sac might have detached. I think there is still a little bit of yolk left in the egg, and the abdomen of the chick is swollen, and it almost looks like it is oozing out of it's navel. What do you think I should do?
