I'll pick a few eggs and take daily pictures of each one too. Maybe just Five eggs.

I'm going to try and track more information this time, but probably not as detailed as you. Too many eggs going in. Lol

I've marked the Myshire Jumbo's and mixed, plus marked my own separately. I do tend to lose track once they start hatching though.

I guess it wouldn't be too much to weigh them at the start, middle, and lockdown. Hmmm...
What else should I not down?

I find its easier and more important to keep track of your own eggs.
Shipped eggs not as important until those shipped ones start laying.

Date laid, for your own eggs, is a great starting point.

Some people weigh egg individually, others weigh the whole batch. Since you don't have the smaller scale yet, maybe you could weigh all of you quail eggs together with the food scale?

Agreed theres not much control over the quality of eggs in someone elses flock when dealing with shipped eggs but if your noticing poor rates on some of your own rhis could be a way to pinpoint the issues thus providing a way to know how to fix them.
