Hello!
I'm glad to be here on BYC. I am looking into getting a small flock of ducks for pest control in my garden. I have been doing a lot of research and I am working on getting my yard prepared for my new companions. Getting ready to start a coop and I'm interested in suggestions. I would like to build a coop where I can easily collect manure for composting. Good input is appreciated!! So glad to be here and hope to get involved with the poultry world :)

Welcome!

As you have already received links to some good starting points, I will just wish you all the best.

I hope you enjoy being a BYC member. There are lots of friendly and very helpful folks here so not only is it overflowing with useful information it is also a great place to make friends and have some fun.

If you would like to share pictures and stories of your ducks when they arrive, you have come to the right place. BYC’ers never tire of these and do not back away slowly or commence eye rolling when the photo album or home videos come out

Collecting duck poo may not be easy. They seem to exist only to splatter walls, ceilings, windows and anything near them with their poo.
