I lost my two sweet 7wk old EE babies last night. A predator dug underneath their little coop, ate one and left the other. I couldn’t wait to see their pretty colored eggs or how their feathering would turn out to look. They didn’t mind being held, and their beards were just coming in. I am absolutely devastated. We have had so much loss on the last 2 years, I don’t know if I can keep getting girls and losing them.
They were named Violet and Isobell, after the two ladies in Downton Abbey.

So sorry - I know losing your babies like that is devastating. :hugs
Be kind to yourself and grieve but then as others have suggested figure out how you can stop it happening again. A no-dig apron, electric wire (or maybe both).
:hugs
