I can't do free range quite yet, but will be getting a run expansion, as soon as I can build it.

Will be adding on 13.1' X 6.5' X 6.3' to the existing run.

I could let the hen out, & let them work it out, but supervised, incase it gets really bad.

N1’s cross stag. He’s hit that stage where he looks more mature by the day. I’ve taken to calling him Lanky because if his long legs, but that may or may not stay his actual name.

I have 7 75% Liege 25% aseel chicks. Can’t really make any observations about them yet except they’re growing fast and seem sturdy. They’re getting infinite live soldier fly maggots and standard all flock crumbles. With the maggots available they eat way less crumbles than any chicks I’ve had before.

Nothing of him posed on the ground but here’s some of him on the roost from tonight. I discovered tonight he has wing claws but it will take a second person to help me get pics of them.

I had a roo with wing claws, I only noticed when I was processing him and they gave me a huge gash.

Do the liege / aseel get higher percentage of their diet from foraging than American game / cracker? Also how does their egg production compare?
