So I left for work today happy with 3 fbcm and 1 silkie hatched and 3 fbcms hatching, hubby called me a bit ago and the temp spiked...121, he thought they were all dead, two are barely hanging on...I have been crying and not sure how to help them. Gave them a beak dip in electrolyteand put them in the bator which is at 99 because my husband put water on them cause he was trying to cool them off so they are drenched...worst thing is I have to go back to work so I can't be here to help them right now

put them in a brooder so they can move around from place to place and try get thir body temp stable

They are still drenched and barely holding on, my boys are so upset and I feel so bad...they are basically laying completely lethargic on their bellies, should I do anything to help them dry? Can I do anything, my 7 year old is crushed...I am so sad and I feel terrible...

I lost my last batch of peeps cause of that.. Had a spike at hatch time... I lost every one of them... so sorry you are going through it too.

Oh my goodness. 121 degree's! What kind of incubator do you have?

lg still air, had run perfectly between 98 and 101.8 for 28 days, I ran it empty for a week to get it going...I still am in shock, and my kids are so sad, 4 and 7 and were so excited to hold them tomorrow

They all were dead when my husband found them except for 2 one has died and the other is pretty iffy, no movement barely at all
