I have bought 3 Holderead Dewlap Toulouse (grey) and they are 2 to 4 years old. I bought a trio, so if 2 do not lay eggs, I have the option to exchange them for layers. The folks that own the Holderead gaggle do not know how to sex them.
Does anyone know when I can expect eggs in sw Arkansas? Are adult geese fairly easy to sex if their vent feathers are wet?? Think I could possibly do it??

avianbiotech can sex them with 2-3 chest feathers plucked and submitted for DNA testing, well worth the cost 20-24 per sample to know what you have.
