Deworming adults and chicks together?

I've seen a couple large adult poos with roundworms in it. Have not found the culprit yet so was planning on deworming all the adults. However I introduced the 9 week old chicks to the coop (they are in separate sections) and free ranging all day a little more then a week ago. Should I also deworm them? I have the Equine safeguard paste. Thanks for any help!

If you're not seeing an active infestation in the chicks I would not be one of the chicks but I definitely would deworm the adults
