How much do they weigh?

Hi Kathy--We actually do not have a scale for weighing our chickens, so investing in one is our first step. They are a smaller breed in general and only 16 weeks old.

My scale is a Taylor and will weigh small chicks and birds up to 5.5kg (12 pounds)

If the table below is correct, your 16 week olds probably weigh about 1000 to 1200 grams. Based on those numbers, I would assume the higher number and give 0.6ml Safeguard *or* 0.25ml Valbazen and repeat either in ten days. Kitchen scales are not very expensive, especially on ebay.
