Deworming chicks

Agree with lazy gardener , those are not worms but shed intestinal lining. I find that my chicks sometimes go through a phase of shedding and then are fine and I don't treat them with anything, so unless they are looking sick then I wouldn't worry....especially since you have already treated them with Corid.

I have treated them with corrid. For a week old how much would yall give them? I was told 1/4tsp per a gallon since they are so tiny. Is this correct?

*The preventative dose (.006%) for Corid 20% Soluble Powder is 1/3 teaspoon/gallon.
*The preventative dose (.006%) for Corid Liquid (9.6% Solution) is 1/2 teaspoon/gallon.

*The moderate outbreak dose (.012%) for Corid 20% Soluble Powder is 3/4 teaspoon/gallon.
*The moderate outbreak dose (.012%) for Corid Liquid (9.6% Solution) is 1 teaspoon/gallon.

*The severe outbreak dose (.024%) for Corid 20% Soluble Powder is 1.5 teaspoons/gallon.
*The severe outbreak dose (.024%) for Corid Liquid (9.6% Solution) is 2 teaspoon/gallon.

For 5-7 days.Corid is extremely safe.I would use the preventative dose.

1/4 tsp is not enough... See MasterOfCluckers post #14 for dose, and use the severe outbreak amount for 5 days, then reduce to the "preventative dose (.006%)" dose for 7-14 days.

This dosage is for chicks as well as full size birds? Or is the full size birds a different dosage?
