Has anyone actually milked their Dexter? We have just started with Dexters, and have one that has calved and 2 more that are due in June. We haven't had a chance to try milking yet... this cow is pretty wild - so not sure we are going to get it done. After we bought our cows, we learned that we needed/wanted the A2/A2 girls. The thing is, we now have an opportunity to buy an A2/A2 heifer - but since we have 3 cows already (and we paid a premium price for them) we don't want to purchase another when we haven't even tasted the milk!! Maybe we don't even want to continue with the Dexters - maybe we need a small Jersey...?? Can anyone help?
