I'm looking to buy some chickens and have not a clue where to get just a few. I'd like 8 or less.
Irving area. Hope to get some good suggestions and hints.

Most places I was looking had a minimum order of 25 or more.
Tractor Supply is having chicks this week as well but not sure what day ?
I ordered because it will be warmer in May and gives me time to prepare.

Hey Rusty, hope you found your source.. We're on the East side of Dallas and do Tractor Supply or the small mom & pop Rooster Hardware for our girl's needs... Wanted to give you a shout out neighbor..

They have chicks in the spring. I don't know if they still do this, but they used to be willing to order specific breeds for you from Ideal Poultry.
