DH cracks me up!!

I too have wondered what everyone that has a bator does with all of the chicks they hatch. Obviously some people have the space and need for many birds, but me being a suburban person, I don't have the room. I would LOVE to have a bator and hatch chicks. I guess I can sell them on CL?? How much do you ask for your chicks? I imagine it depends on the breed?

Usually around $5 each. Some of it does depend on the breed, but I try to hatch breeds that I know a lot of people like.

I have 3 bators, little rough on the electric company though, last bill was 259. Then I thought, I can buy chicks cheaper than that. Now I buy and hatch, oh no, I'm addicted!!

As for to many chicks, guess you can say I like hatching for everyone, not hard to give them away when over run.
