Jody - I'm sorry. So many people are facing this. I will keep you in my prayers that he will find a new job quickly.

My husband was out of work for over a year and ended up taking the only job offered to him making less money than we've ever made in 24 years of marriage. We are so grateful for the job... but it would be nice to be able to pay the bills.

Just when we think it can't get any worse. Just remember to utilize all available options... this just happened to my DB and his pregnant wife - they both were laid off about a month apart and ended up having to ask the State for help. The lines for unemployment and other benefits were insane, but it helped them both considerably.

My thoughts will be with you and yours that all will be OK!

Thanks everybody. The prayers help. He has been making phone calls. He has at least 2 businesses that he will be visiting tomorrow that he spoke with today.
