A local employer here just announced they were closing June 30.
120 out of work. A guy that has been there 36 years is getting a 3600 sev package.

hubby is on his 3rd week or so here of being layed off still havent gotten money from unemployment yet.... and so far no deffinate date of him going back to work yet

My husband was laid off. He found another job finally, but it was several months before he did. What helped us through was he found free lance work. My husband is a mechanic so he did repairs for people. What can your husband do? He can put an ad on craigslist. It can bring in money until he can find something permanent. It is worth a shot.
