How sweet!

The Notebook was an awesome movie. There was another movie called "Miles To Go Before I Sleep" that was really moving, also. Jill Clayburgh and Tom Skerritt were the lead actors, and all I can say is, if you can find it, you should rent / borrow this movie and watch it.

ETA: if DH is going to make you cry, that's the way it should be done....

Sweet! You are very blessed to have a loving husband!

I think almost daily about how lucky I am to have such a wonderful loving husband. If it weren't for him I would most likely be dead or in jail. Seriously. He took my pathetic self and turned me into a great woman and I thank God for that. He has given me such a wonderful life and family. I am not really an affectionate person (maybe due to my childhood which is a whole book in itself) but my hubby is very loving and affectionate. I try really hard to let him be this way to me and enjoy it. Of course, there are days I would like to strangle him but overall he is the best man I know.

The relationship between a husband and wife is so awesome and meaningful that I can't even find words to describe it.

Thanks for sharing

Winnie the Pooh says something like: "if you live to be a hundred, I want to live one day less than a hundred, so I don't have to live without you." I don't know if that is the exact words, but its enough to make me bawl like a baby.

My husband is disabled, and has a lot of things wrong; although he has been holding his own really well this year,

. . .but just the thought of losing him is sheer misery for me. We had BIG adjustments when he got sick and was home 100% of the time, and we still butt heads over stuff, but the love and devotion is still there. . .your husband sounds wonderful, cherish him.

This makes me think so much of my mother and father.

Dad was 9 years older, marry over 50 years, Mom pass with cancer a few years ago, dad start alzerhmers just before mom passed, now he remember all the old time, even ask if i went by and seen Mom.
