I have five 6 day old golden cuckoo marans in the brooder. Two are roos. Whenever we have chicks in the house, DH likes to crow to them. I wish I had a movie camera this morning. My little blonde roo was trying to crow back, and he did it more than once. He sticks his little neck out and belts out 2 loud squeaky peeps.
