Yes you give the reg horse dose... just like you do mini horses etc. Yes, also do a booster for their first time.

Thanks all! You've brought DH a step closer to his emu!
Now to find a local breeder. Happily we're in no big rush. I try not to get shipped eggs unless I have to and then beg the sellers to not mark the box in any way. There is some <word I can't say> in a shipping hub around here who takes vast delight in smashing anything marked fragile. I have literally gotten a box that could not have been damaged like that any other way then being run over with something. The duck eggs were pretty bad, I don't want to imagine what would happen to an emu egg.
