cafarmgirl - Yes, I understand now why you wouldn't play around with coccidiosis if you've had such an experience with it. I haven't, which is why I'm not as gun-shy about it but I'm getting that way with Marek's or what I suspect is Marek's. I hatch my own chicks now so they aren't vaccinated from birth like you can get them from the hatchery but I've had such a time with this last batch of chicks that I'm thinking I might start vaccinating myself if I can confirm that is in fact Marek's.
