I have a 6 month Austrolorpe who has had loose stools for about a month.
She lays 4 or 5 days a week, is healthy, heavy, red combed, busy hen. Truely no signs of distress or health problems.
She lives with 5 other hens who have regular looking and formed poop. They free-range around the yard daily.
I have looked for worms, blood or other signs that there is something wrong with her, or even other hens in my flock. Nothing.
I am wondering if I should treat my flock for birds for parasites/worms. I hate to use chemicals on the ladies if I don't have a good reason to do so. I am wondering if this bird has an idosyncrancy that causes her to have this unique problem or am I fooling myself.
