Don't they sell Turduckins at Thanksgiving. Aren't you getting some turkeys? I see turduckins in your future. I love watching the ducks but one of ours is getting on my nerves. Oh and ducks not raised on a pond will not go into the pond willingly. I have to pick them up and carry them to the water. So for those of you thinking ducks on your pond would be great get a duck hen that was raised on a pond to raise babies on the pond. Otherwise they just play in their drinking water.
turduckins, Dad would love that! there are 3 viables in the bator right now and 17 stupid ancona.... I know I am being mean but I am upset!

Sally, I think I must go over there to you or you must come over here to me and then we can go do something silly and fun and forget our troubles and let our men and our birds sort themselves out. What do you say?

Yes. I have the addiction. I decided after this hatch that I am going to buy a cabinet model. I dont want to go over $600. I would prefer $300. Where do I look?
for less than 600 you can get a great used bator with turner racks

I am in the slow process of making one. I hope to finish by this coming weekend.

I will post it here.

Duck hens are good. If you know any bakers they would love duck eggs. Supposed to be best for baking. I couldn't be so lucky to get a hen out the 2 ducks we have. They are both drakes.

For those of you with little ones my kids love Peep and Chirp in the Big Wide World. They are online videos and games. Just a random thought because little guy is watching them right now. Chirp just hatched in a music video.
