How in the world do you see internal pipping and detached air cells? I cant see inside the eggs very well and I have a high powered flashlight that is just the right size for eggs. Am I missing something? Is it only for white eggs?
I also have a store bought candler but its not near as good as my led flashlight

You should be able to see the air cells unless they have extremely dark shells. When you candle the eggs, you should see lighter "void" area in the large end of the egg.
 
I'm sorry. was i not supposed to ask about incubators?
 
i think if you have a hard time seeing them at first it should mean they're very fresh! :)
