i dont have chicks - but I do have a pip. One of the SFH should come into the world tonight sometime. I am selling these at 10 bucks a chick and have 15 sold so far. Talking about counting chickens before they hatch.
I do this with silkies, I have about 20 messages with locals wanting them. so I send out messages and let them know how many are coming first come first serve, paypal will hold, if failed hatch refund money. most people trust me too! not that they shouldn't LOL

This Friday is hatch day for Sally's Brahma & Cochin eggs!! I am terribly nervous, and am really praying I won't need any advice or help! Can it just be that simple? We'll see!

Awesome news tonight! The original lady I had talked to about hatching Call Ducklings for me called and has 3 that hatched a couple days ago. I got the 2 from Wingstone, so, now I'll have 5!!! I'm sooo happy! Love these little babies!

Howdy,
Well son came over for the past couples days and got all my onions and potatoes planted and mad a little hoop over it, because every time he walked away or turned his back my Spitzenhauben's, would pull out the onions. He came in and I looked at him and said hey look out the window

all the birds were loving the fresh tilled ground and pecking around, and pulling the onion sets out and dropping them, he got so mad, that was a whole days work ruined. He just doesn't realize that they was fertilizing the ground and stirring it around. He spent the day guarding it, until I told him there was PVC pipe he could use to make a hope over it and cover with bird net. It was simple and we got it done quick. No baby yet either, that full moon wasn't on our side and she is officially 1 day past due date. If she doesn't go by Friday they are inducing her that morning.
awwww Mich is gonna be a Grammy!!! YAYA!!

Quote: HUMPTY, no shell is Still ALIVE!!! MORNING Day 19.... He actually moved the egg out of its little paper towel nest sometime last night, and that blood looks just like a dot on the dry towel. They entire back side of shell is gone he is sitting on. I sure "isn't" gonna mess with him! I know I am gonna get even more excited and then the little dumpty will croak on me at hatch day. I am amazed, holy crow its actually still alive.

Oh Sally! I am so glad it's you not me :) I would have freaked out!! (and called you) I dropped one at lock down once and killed it. I do not candle any more. I figure what hatches hatches.
