I love them. Now whisper wise things through their shell before you put them in the mail. Tell them to do you proud, be brave and strong little chickies etc...
Where is the happy dance button....

I have 2 older sons in there mid 20's out of h ouse, and we have a 13 & 8 yr old girls and 5 year old lucas. And I babysit so I have a house full of playing kiddos most days and into the evenings, you all keep me sane! Thanks for that! I also have 5 dogs, an old Dal and 4 English springers which I breed. I am a chicken loving hermit! that's me!

we missed you!

Oh my gosh...I'm no longer a "new egg". I'm now "just hatched"! Sometimes its the trivial things that matter most.

QUESTION: the chicks that seem to feather really fast? =
Pullets? I have two very distinct feathering going on. Lots of wing feathers on some and hardly any on others... I'll see if I can nab a pic.

. I hope this is the case because my ONE Henrietta baby is feathering really nice in the wings and I really want to keep her...it. um...its not a bit odd that my chickens have names right?

I'm going to try to putting pennies in the water wells this time. How many should a person put in? I found 22 pennies that were made before 1982 in my wallet, is that overkill?
