Congratulations on the turkeys Sally! :clap

I received my chicks from crazypetlady this morning and they are amazing! She sent 22 and every single one of them made it.  There are at least 7 silkie chicks and they seem to be of really good quality.  There was also a naked necked chick, 2 little white and brown chicks, and a bunch of super fluffy ones that I think might be ameraucana.  These are honestly some of the cutest chicks that I have ever seen. :love

That is really awesome!

That's my opinion and I am sure oz will throw some facts because, well he is alot smarter than me and has a great memory to boot!

But that's why I put ACV in there water. That stuff helps with so many things.

What s ACV?

apple cider vinegar, and I am not sure its a cure or preventative for cocc, I would have to research unless Tony has the info already.

TONY assignment! Study cocc and ACV and MED feed and see what you come up with! We want facts please!! No seriously I would love to have the facts and know for sure!

I don't use medicated. I do use ACV and had a cocci outbreak this winter. Corid cleared it right up and no fatalities. ACV does not prevent but I think it helps fight against. I have a mixed flock and don't want to have to buy different feed for everyone. I use flock raiser crumbles for the littles up to 6 months or earlier. Depends on when they reach the adult feeder and start helping themselves. This is working for me. Helps that I got rid of the guineas and switched my coops/pens to sand.
coch can I see gos updated pic too when you snap the little ones? I love gos
x2 Can't wait to see an updated pic.
