First, the one incubator is a Hovabator - 99,9 temp for a week before setting eggs being Buff Polish, Sultan and White Crested Polish
Never washed my eggs they were all shipped very secure, didn't lose 1 egg in shipping (however I did drop one)
all were shipped with the pointy end facing down and each one was wrapped in bubble wrap.
The newest incubator is a
.. The temp is perfect and steady but the humidity is going back and forth but never over 45%. This one has Guinea eggs which I know is 28 days and I have some showgirls in there and a few my own polish and Millie Fleurs..
I had ordered 30 chicks and I have 8 left, (Cochin) so I will not be ordering any more live poultry.
I don't know anything about candling and didn't do it, does it really matter to start with that? I did double check temp with 2 different thermometers. Yes my eggs sat for at least 24 hours but no more than 48 hours.
eggs came from New York, Arkansas, Tennessee, North Carolina. All shipped within a day from the other (2 days of deliveries). Post Office just calls me and laughs, and says you have more babies up here waiting on you..
