Ugggg another round of storms this afternoon and tonight. Thankfully DH and the kids are heading to Texas today. I am a lot less stressed about the thought of a tornado with not having to worry about which kid I am going to hold down. Only people from Oklahoma think like that.

(I am joking if you can't hear it in my sarcasm. The stress of the weather is getting to me. Have I mentioned that I lost all my corn to the storms.)

Oh and broody update. One girl is sitting on at least 15 eggs. She has obviously been collecting for the past 2 weeks. Yes I will feel the need to put every last one that does not hatch into the incubator and have a staggered hatch that will last at least 2 weeks. Done with this broody nonsense.

Ok I need more coffee and then out to check the flooded coops.

Awww.... I would send you some corn, but the chickens keep finding a way to eat the tops of my baby corn plants.

I'm getting tons of squash already, and have lots of green tomatoes on my plants.

I candled my day 8 eggs last night, and I have 4 out of 8 developing. I have one that had veining before, but last night it looked bad. The veins were cloudy, but I could see the little chicklette embryo still moving around. Can it still make it, or is it dying?

Well at least I know I could throw them to the chickens after I pull what is left of them out. Going to try replanting.

Sumi! How are you doing friend?
I'm good and you? Still having crazy weather? We are having the warmest winter here. In the middle of the day we're down to shorts and t-shirts! I wonder what summer's going to be like
