I've never seen an egg like that before. Good luck with hatching!

So should I candle a few to see if they are still alive? They haven't pipped yet.

Gosh... I am no expert either. This is my first hatch. From everything I've read, if they haven't externally pipped, they should be safe from "shrink" wrapping, but... Is say give it another day. From what I've read, if your temps were low side, they may just be a little behind by a day or two. I wouldn't risk messing with them tonight to keep the humidity stable. Believe me... I'd be feeling the same way you are.

Okay. I'm sure I will be waking up throughout the night to check on them.

i am on the hatching cliff with you 3D.

at this stage i would have to have a peak. I would open up, look at 2 or three eggs for internal pipping then sprinkle a few drops of water on the floor of the bator to get the humidity back up fast (not on the eggs) and close it up for another day. But thats just me.

Looks like only 6 of the 14 eggs I put in the bator are fertilized. Ugh! It also looks like the air pocket is on the wrong end of all 6... Could this be? I can see veins but know airpocket up top. I tried to take pictures. They don't show the veining but do show where it lighter. It's hard to take pictures of them.

its ok, air cells will be weird sometimes, they can hatch.... thats a VERY viable egg!
