Well. I was walking outside in the dark and bent over to pick up a feeder I thought was laying on the porch and forgot about the file cabinet I just bought and had sat there. Ouch.

i hope this is normal.   shouldnt i start hearing or seeing anything yet

be very patient. I remember my first hatch and it's hard to wait. Sit on your hands and don't touch the eggs. When you are this excited sometimes you start picking at the eggs, so don't touch!!!

Staggered hatch but in the bator I've got 6 serama, 2 Lav AM, 4 Salmon Faverolle, 4 dmrippy blue egg layer crosses, and hopefully a BCM or two ( but I can't see in there) stewing in the bator. Fingers cross that I get at least one female of each!!!

I just bout sone cream legbar eggs that should come in the middle of next week. Uh, did I say I was going to shut the bator down after this hatch?!?! :-/. Lol!!!! You guys already knew I wouldn't, right? That chicken math will get you every time.

hey, my Turkey is still alive. How long do I leave him in the cup though? I am scared of taking him out too soon. I hope this guy pulls through but still having major doubts. I am worried that yolk sac is going to get infected

Its so hard will need some sleeping pills. I put the bator in my upstairs bathroom, just so i can hear and see it even if im sleeping. lol tomorow i have doctors apointment so that will releave some of my stress. hopefully when i get home they are all out.

me too. Have discovered he is ready to be drinking. I need to get him a little brooder made up as he is still in the incubator. I dont want him with the chicks yet. I took him out of the cup and he kicked out of the egg as he is getting more lively. The only problem is that his navel is still open. I am seeing lots of things on here of what to do but I am just getting more confused.
