I think it's okay. It's just nappin' I guess. I hope it will hatch soon so I can go to school tomorrow. lol

3D it can take 12-24 hours from pip to hatch. Don't open your bator and don't be in a rush to help. They know what they are doing.

Here are a couple pics of Ft. Ducknox. Pretty sure it is impenetrable by other predators. Plan is to let the ducks have free access to the ponds so I am sure I will be having a survival of the fittest talk with the 4 year old when his duckweens come up missing. It will be alright though since he already has plans for more duckweens.


updated pic of the chicks-it's a poopy mess and the walls are still dirty and stained from the ducks. Oh well. They will have good strong immune systems.

you should have used 4x8s and concrete mesh - lol - great solid coop

Still no progress. It's been 10 hours since it pipped. I am hoping it hatches later rather than sooner so I can sleep at least a little bit tonight.

Oh, I am not sure if it pipped or if it just dented the shell... isn't that the same thing...? I'm in grade ten. I have to stay home because if it does hatch throughout the day it might dunk it's head into the water reservoirs and drown itself, and I won't be able to help it. Plus I just want to watch. lol It's the last week of school anyway, so nothing big is going to happen while I'm gone. :3

Bator update~

Lets begin with the Mag-Lite XL50 with 139 lumen BTW he brought me a red one, think I get a red GTO for Christmas???

I said why red, he said "its Christmas"

ANYWAY..... I CAN ONLY SEE AIR CELLS in the Maran. but THANK GOD they move and bounce that air cell! Our Blue EE eggs I could see well in now!! YAY

VIABLES=
MARANS = 20 or 21 lol I was fast will go into lockdown tomorrow, NOTE that some of those air cells are really saddle shaped holy crap!
Serama = 5 ready to burst! Harmony excited also some weird saddle shaped air cells!
Langshang = 2 out of 6 fertile : ( this is day 12 or so for them
Ancona Duck= 5 set for the NYDHatch from sweet SARA ~ 5 YAY. DAY 12? and soo freakin awesome to watch during candle!!
Olive Eggers = 5 growing SET WITH duck eggs day 12 THANKS Sarah, she sent them with the duckies!! YAYA
GLW & Light Brahma = 5 out of 10 I think....cant tell who is who as no egg markings, eggs all looked the same

Our EASTER EGGERS & misc = BUST all infertile! Must start looking at them for fertility, I only just started seeing Roo do his job! LOL
