Black Copper eggs pipping in the hatcher...

Hope to have some chicks to take pictures of soon. Hatched 1 chick the other day out of 9, 3 of them died in the final stages couldn't find anything wrong, the others the air sacs where really really bad. Have family coming in this weekend (hope they don't mind the incubators in their bedroom)

I may have discovered how to keep family away...

Are these yoir own BCMs? I've recently discovered they are harder to hatch and add in that I have them shipped to me, well I've never had one hatch. I'd like to hatch one.

Great saloon Sally looks wonderful!
Now a question and a pic ok how do I introduce my day old chicks to my six day old chicks and in a month how do I introduce the new chicks to all of these

Thanks, these were shipped eggs I purchased off ebay, out of 22 egg there are 20 in hatcher. We shall see what hatches,
I bought them for my Dad and now he has decided he is not interested.

Now I will have to figure out what do with them..

The rat weighs a pound. The turkey 20. Odds are the turkey did not ingest enough to get sick.

As far as vitk from greens to reverse warfarin like substances - faggettaboutit. Not going to do squat.

Vit k does reverse but its not immediate. In a human it can take 4 doses.

for some reason I cant post pictures, so I hope I can explain this so you can picture it.

to make a generic wagon wheel from 2x4's :

standing on edge in a miter saw, cut 12 2x4 blocks at an 18 degree angle on each end flipping each time you cut. from the longest points each 2x4 should measure 5 inches. on the largest side mark dead center by lining up alternating corners and drill a 1 inch hole all the way though. the blocks would look like this / \ looking dead on from the small edge of the 2x4.

using the same saw setting, cut 12 more pieces 2 inches long at the widest points. mark the same way, but only drill half way though with the hole being on the largest side.

rip 6 pieces of wood 3/4 x 3/4 square and 6 foot long. using a router and quarter round bit, take off the corners to form a rough looking dowl rod. you can buy 1 inch dowl rods to do this if you want, (12) 1 inch dowl rods 3 feet long.

nail or screw 5 inch blocks together to form a circular shape. do the same thing with the 2 inch blocks. center the small "circle" inside of the larger one, measure and cut dowls to make spokes.

I have some rough pictures but I cant get them to post. looking at this when its done, from the side you would see the 2 inch sides of the 2x4's.

we discussed making one but not sure its worth the time since I have a zil other projects waiting, I added a email notification to CL if any pop up, heck I would take one of those light fixtures and make it work as well! I swear they are in almost every cabin upstate! lol

went from 15 eggs down to 9..... all my mille fleur leghorn eggs are gone. so i have 2 basque, 1 barnvelder, 1 cream legbar, 1 crele pendesenca, 2 wellsumer, and 2 isbar. I think i might see some blood rings but i am holding off a little longer just incase as some of the eggs are hard to see through. I wish i could get these breeds locally. Guess i will try again in the fall maybe. Hoping I can get a few pullets of this hatch. BUT on an up side the two crele laced polish i hatched are feathering in and look like girls and they have beautiful markings! and my little isbar I have is still the cutest little thing!
