I think i would be very careful putting day olds in with 6 week olds..is that what I read?
If they are a week apart its ok.
At least put something in there the babies can go under to keep away from the older ones. as the older can peck them badly
Better to wait until they are older a month anyway.
Right now they are very vunerable so new.

No the older ones are 6 days old the younger are 1 day old

6 Marans so far and lots of pips. LOL I went back to the listing and they are French Black Copper Marans, Blue and Splash. have 3 black and 3 blue.. All have already been sold as they hatch, so they won't be on my feed bill.

Yeah I mis read.... I just put a week old Lav Am and with a day old Lav Am just today so they would have a friend

They are fine I did it a few weeks ago too.
.As the other person said Mikkles? they get scared and look at each other for a few minutes then do fine
Keep an eye for a bit to make sure a group doesnt pick on the one if its just one going in..
Ived had them do that for a day or so a couple bullies but gave it up after a while..

Ya I put all in except 2 who haven't quit figured their legs out yet and as the small ones outnumber the big ones 22 to 5 they are getting along fine ty for your input I really love how the community here helps each other

I feel bad for the poor hen that laid this one. I think it's the Cornish X, but not positive.
