WRY NECK / Torticollis
Wry neck is a condition in which the baby chicks head or hangs it sideways or tilts backwards, causing it to be off balance and fall over. Sometimes chicks can be weak and fall over but if its tilting of head back is causing toppling its typically wry/crooked neck.

Torticollis is a symptom from different illnesses. Marek's disease, a possible vitamin deficiency in magnesium, vitamin E, thiamine, avian encephalomyelitis or listeriosis, food poisoning/botulism, heavy metal/lead toxicity, Fungal aspergillosis, ear infections, and head injuries with some vulted skull breeds.

Yeah... this is the first time that I've had to deal with it. I wanted to use up the non-medicated chick starter from the ducklings. but now I regret it. Today is the last day of their treatment. Only one of them has died and that one passed away yesterday. He had seemed very weak for the past week so I knew it was coming. I'm thankful for the ones I have. The day I discovered it, the brooder looked like a war zone. Extremely bloody droppings everywhere.

As far as Gooser goes, I'm not sure what to do. The only feed the local feed mill offers that isn't meant for chicks or layers is "All Flock" with 18% protein. I was told to let them free-range as often as possible and to add whole oats to the feed to lower the protein, but since they are kept with the chickens, I'm not so sure I should do that.

I wont use non medicated ever again. I lost to many to count with Cocci. Medicated feed and keeping the brooders relatively clean seems to be a must.

OMG!! Almost have the hen house done. Just need to mow the tree sprouts down and put up the 70 feet of wire. Then I can move the hens on over.

I'm sorry, but I don't have much more to suggest... I've dealt with twisted wing tip in my Sebastopol goslings by wrapping wings, and switching to 16% protein at 3 wks of age. I can't seem to figure out what actually triggers it. Wrapping seems to help most of the time as long I catch it in time & manage to keep the bandage on. I've switched to using tape instead of vet-wrap and I keep it on until the tape falls off itself!

Iam hatching button quail. They been the incubator for 3 days The power went out for one and half hours will they be ok my first batch didn't go so great
I'm no egg-pert ;) but I believe it will be okay. Since it's Day 3, candle on Day 7 and see what is developing. Don't give up hope!
