Diary & Notes ~ Air Cell Detatched SHIPPED Chicken Eggs for incubation and hatching

That was my worse nightmare when we hatched in SA. The power outages were ridiculous. One day the line broke and our farm's power was out. Just our farm. So no rush to get it fixed...

I was halfway through incubating 56 eggs, so we carried the incubator over to the neighbours!

Lol there's pretty much always a storm watch in place where I live. We got one a few days ago that was so sudden and unexpected, they cancelled school in the middle of the day... T'was a good day...

Anyway- When I came back I checked on the little peeper, and put more warm water on the membrane around her. It got lots of chirping in response! She's pretty much stuck in her little ball of membrane. XD

I go pick up kids and come back to 63 pages. Cheering for Hope.

Lovely! Last winter, we went two weeks without power... I am prepared to grab and go if I need too. I have two bricks by the woodstove if we get snowed in again. We were in the same boat you were. Just us and the power company said when we called three times that they didn't even know anyone was at our farm. Really??? Who cashes my power bill payments then. Ugh! Anywho... I'm ready if I need to be. Good gracious, I hope I don't need bricks for a heat source. He he he!

3D, it's been an hour, let's see how Hope's doing with the blood. Pull a bit more of the membrane off, but in a different spot from where the blood was. Go a bit lower, like under her beak, to the left or right.

Sumi send me a bottle of jameson plllllzzzzzzz finshed my last bottle last night but i refuse to buy one here lol. ive have 6 bottles in my time every one was imported hehe. I dont care what people say theres a difference in it
