. This chick has a big squishy lump on its head. It's a wellsummer. Also might have mushy chick disease. Should I cull it? I hate to see it suffer but I need an easy way to do it for myself as well please.
Why do these chicks get these air bubbles? I know it's not just on the heads, they get them other places too. I had one with it on the side of the neck. Why does this happen to new chicks? Could one of the balloon areas in their abdomen be malformed or punctured?

My wife made egg salad sandwiches out of the last batch of eggs that I gathered. I gathered 34 more a few minutes ago. Im getting about 6 to 8 a day now. I have about 30 pullets that should lay any day and some are already. I also have 30 more that will start laying in a couple of months. We are boiling about 30 of them now.

I HAVE TWO EMPTY BATORS. WOOHOO> One bator has two peacock eggs in it and the other has 16 or so guinea eggs in it. All hatch middle of next week.
