Don't worry about NPIP, its no big deal. Each bird is handled for like less than a minute. Deep Breaths, Out with stress, In with love...... Everything is going to be allright. It will be quick and everything will be cool. Foosah.

I will have issues with the white faced spanish combs and wattles this winter if I dont give some heat at really cold temps....... I have thermostat controlled outlets on at 32 off at 42.... will this force molt too? I will have supplemental laying lighting for them also, does fluorescent or incandescent matter to the birds? 14 or 16 hrs ?

Put Vaseline on the combs and wattles that should help. You will have to reapply during the winter but it does help

Put Vaseline on the combs and wattles that should help. You will have to reapply during the winter but it does help
That I am not doing, picture phyco birds flying everywhere seeing me with grease in my hands! they freak even when I walk into the pen like I am going to eat them or something. hmmmmm chicken
