Wonder why you cant maintain a temp? That I have never had issues with, but I never fussed over it too much, lol.... OMG did I just say that!!! LOLone thing i was thinking of is that you might want to think about your brooder setup for when you do have chicks hatch. I have been having a lot of trouble maintaining a good temp in my brooder and i wish i had got it up and running sooner to work out the kinks.
Anyway....I have it all ready from this spring, I cleaned it and set it back up right away. I decided to clean clean clean today to get my mind off all the stuff going on here... The puppies coming has me even more frazzled, phone calls for puppies, phone calls for babysitting, have a hen we did bumblefoot surgery on, uggggg oh and we were at the vet for Xrays for a pup count and couldnt get one... too much poo, wish they would have told me to hold the food for a bit first!!! She goes back monday for another for free. I am researching birthing and birthing problems and such... I should start to get her "nesting" area lol ready too, but I cant seem to find a kiddie pool or play yard gate system, so I keep searching Craigslist too! Can you tell I am a stay at home mom? I talk too much!!
