I have no clue either, but they are neat looking look at that roos comb! sexy things! congrats !

3 hatched today the other 6 zipping. Looks like I'm having 100% hatch rate of the ones I put on lock down. Yet hopping that my 6 shipped in the incubator do something. I would be so happy.

All 5 serama are hatched and eating grow gel in the bator with them, first brahma out is a splash as its all yellow, two of the CCL Roos x EE are out, two CCL are out and cant tell boy girl cause they just popped out and wet yet. Its funny how the serama seem so much smarter in the bator than the big dopey chicks, they walk on top of the big ones lol.

And the bottom of my styro bator (I forgot Chad dont have a fan so I shut it down lol) anyways the bottom of my old styro is FILLED with Brahma eggs, I am tilting the entire bator since the eggs are tightly packed in there! easy peasy incubating, I am so glad I learned a few cheats along the way, turning so many eggs that many times a day gets old fast! Chad has turner but he has quail racks in it and only two rows for normal sizes so I cant use it :(

I hope I get a awesome hatch this week, as I have all the chicks basically sold, sure I will get stuck with some CCL roos since everyone wants pullets, but the next bator is due for lockdown thursday, so we will run continues until we have no more local pick up orders. I am seriously surprised that everyone wants CCL locally and not as many brahma, I have the brahma dirt cheap too! And what a great chance for colored brahma chicks too!! I am assuming most people think they are expensive and wont even ask.... I will advertise the left overs from this lot and perhaps seeing the price will draw more orders so I can set as many brahma as CCL. Lord knows I have more brahma hens than anything!

Large fowl are begining to external pip, one malposition was the first I seen but she is doing good in there chirping away!
Four of the five serama are out when I went down at 11 am. so we wait!
You know..I was thinking, and my malpositions are always the first to pip. I'm thinking that is because their external is like everyone elses internal(advice from a wise ole gal, lol). So, when you see a malpositioned's external, you probably have lots of internals you aren't seeing?? Just a thought..

This is killing me because I love to solve mysteries. I can not figure out what you've got. I know it's a rose comb (very large at that) but I'm finding nothing..
