we will have to keep an ear out if anyone else getting chicks from them recently has issues too. did you have any bad poops? Some say that most times they dont have bloody poo!

I havent said anyone is an expert or do I remember discussing it other than what Nikki posted a few days ago?... so not sure whatcha talking bout?? Anyways... I think on you tube there is a cool video of duck sexing??? It may be linked up on my duck article at the bottom. Someone sent me a link to sexing via facebook but I didnt think it a good video. Big hatcheries always feather and vent sex as far as I know???? anyone???

If you find anything out I sure would like to know too!

I vent sexed a batch of ducklings last spring. Out of 40 ducklings, I correctly sexed 38 of them.

Sexing ducklings and goslings is fairly easy. The male's organ pops out when exposed. Sexing chicks is a lot harder and I haven't figured it out.

Feeling ill this morning, stupid stomach bug. ughhhhh

Be sure to keep a close eye on them, but it wouldn't surprise me if they're dying from the stress of being shipped. A few of my friends were losing chicks up to 10 days after the shipments arrived.
