We are hatching mutts. 12/16 hatched so far with more to come.

This will be our best hatch. A room dehumidifier running at 35% has made a world of difference. My bator room was never below 60%. Iwish I could dry the air to 25%. We are sucking 1 gallon of water per day out of a room 4x10.

We have 170 eggs in the bator including mostly mutts, but also a few purebred Brittish BBS Orps, Barred Rocks, BBS Jersey Giants and RIR

Those air cells are awfully small. Try to lower the humidity as much as possible until there are internal pips.

I wish you and your chicks the best of luck.

x2 awfully small and all the rest of what coch said. These were in the new expensive incubator too were they not? I am wondering how your air flow is in that thing? fans are working properly and such?

Today I feel like we did a lot of work in the freezing cold, three foot deep accumulated snow on the ground. I didnt get all the chicks out of the house, I will assume the gal from CT is coming tomorrow eve for hers as she didnt answer email today. But outside, everyone was ivemected, tracheal swabbed but we didnt get to cleaning out the serama saloon and grow outs as I didnt have sevin powder left :( so I need to do it next weekend. I hate having to spread it out, I had DUST in general, so glad I did them though! The heat lamps had alot of dust that needed cleaning for sure!

I am having an allergic reaction, I have hives on my neck and chest.... I think it may be from the ivermectin, thats the only thing I came in contact with today that I never had been before. thoughts????? I tried to be careful but but but I did get some on my hands.....

if you got it on your hands, consider yourself free of worms

A very serious allergic reaction to this drug is rare. However, seek immediate medical attention if you notice any symptoms of a serious allergic reaction, including: rash, itching/swelling (especially of the face/tongue/throat), severe dizziness, trouble breathing.

If you are typing on BYC then I doubt you have a severe reaction

Take benadryl and sleep well.

Quote: already on the benadryl, its not making me tired .... ... I will keep an eye on the stool lmao

not serious just hivesy under my chin, neck chest and back and itchy madness, I think thats why I cannot sleep... I tried several times already.
