Do these Ancona duck eggs look OK for day 8?

This is egg #2

And egg #1. These seem to be the only ones from that shipment doing anything. They had the least damage.

NOTE to self:

NEVER unplug the coolerbator to make it darker for candling

We lost 12 serama eggies because I did this yesterday,

ooopsies!
first time I ever unplugged it out of irritation, guess it came back at me eh?
I need to cut cardboard out to cover the plexi on top of them for candling I guess

Quote: I am wondering if thats it here as well, since these new thermos I hatch day 21 too, which makes me think my old accurites ran hotter, but I had better weight loss and hatch rates with the others..... hmmmmmmm
I am going to jack up heat to 101 using the new ones, DH did the spot check with the kids thermo and he says they are spot on, but I know somethings not right and its either egg shells or temps. because running dry at such low humidity should make this all work and its NOT. Just when you think you got it, bam you loose your trusted thermos!

why would all 4 of mine go at the same time, its weird! I have been cursed!! ha ha ha

Quote: I think they look fine but I dont have the duck image for loss in front of me, are you weighing too?

I told myself I wouldn't even candle...now I'm doing it every day...what is wrong with me!?! I know I said I planned on giving them a cool down time everyday...but this isn't what I meant!
lol
