awesome!!  yay!!!   did you request how your eggs were collected and sent out of curiousity how did they ship?  

The seller is delisha here on BYC. I asked her how she collects and packages. But I went with what she is experienced in doing since this is my first time getting eggs. I took a picture of them in the box actually! All were wrapped in paper towels and surrounded by newspaper and other packing stuff. They were collected the day before shipping and send priority mail. Took 2 days. I had her write to hold and call me for pick up. All the air cells are small - can tell they are very fresh!

She has nice birds! Glad they looked good.

LOL !!! I like to read, even if its difficult reading at times, but I must be careful I dont misinterpret these things! Isnt it cool to be put "inside the egg" with the chick though?

Oh my! I just spent the last 45 minutes reading those studies. If one ever had cause to doubt a Creator, how could one possibly think that all of that could be randomly choreographed and put together successfully!!!! Truly impressive.

Temporary heating before incubation and enclosing eggs in plastic bags during storage improves hatchability, especially when storage is prolonged. A high humidity during storage also improves hatchability, probably due to a reduction in water loss. The changes in albumen pH during storage are discussed in so far as they provide a possible explanation for relationships between environmental conditions during storage and hatching results.
