PEKIN DUCK:
Results suggest that hatchability of fertile eggs and ducklings weight on hatching day could be improved to a great extent and more efficient by dipping hatching Peking duck eggs into (LP liquid paraffin
wax)
on the 14th days of incubation or raising the RH to 80% during the period from 14-28 day of incubation.

Rate of egg weight loss should not exceed 12% otherwise, hatchability could be adversely affected (Hays and Spear, 1951 and Robertson, 1961).

I am so thrilled that the cabinet coolerbator is doing its job!! I can fill some orders!!! GO chickies!!
CCL are hatching like mad, some of the WFBS, and some CClxBR are pipped and hatching, why are brahma always last? <tapping foot>

 
Holy batch hatch at once! I had two and just like that they are at each end of the bator!I had to grab out all the shells fast, two shells encased other unhatched eggs! ughhhhh too many in there I guess, they do have some room now, but the chicks are allllll over them eggs! ha ha just hanging,

not only last to hatch, but last to mature, 2 years to fully mature
