Hi everyone , have a question that could use some input on.My incubator( a brinsea mini eco) died, i talked to brinsea about it yesterday, they said pack it up & send it to them for repair, problem is I already have purchased another batch of eggs off eBay. The seller says let know when to send them, I am thinking it will take a while for incubator to get back. I looked on craigslist a lady who lives about 45mins.away is offering incubator service says charge $1.00 per egg. she says she has the space now. the question is should i use the lady or see if seller will Wait till get incubator fixed. has anyone used a service before ? know of problems?. also i have yet to get anything to hatch,in 2 attempts with shipped eggs. thank you for your time &thoughts
Do you trust this lady with your shipped eggs? ask her what her procedure is for shipped eggs too. If she has a good procedure and has done well with them it may "pay" for you to use her bator services.... but make sure she is an honest person too!

OMG I SWEAR I never looked at an egg the same again.... it takes a second for me to crack one in a pan and NOT say a blessing over the little bugger

You know when I first hatched eggs and did some assisted hatches I also felt a bit funny about eating eggs. Actually I still feel funny about eating eggs. I'd rather incubate them.
