Congrats!! Pics, please?
They take up to 24 from pipping through the shell to completing the hatch, but I hear from internal pip to external pip can also take a few hours. I've had some chicks take quite long to hatch and I had one hatch incredibly quickly. I just sat and watched her, pip, zip, out of there! Took maybe 15 minutes. They're not following the hatching rules, or expectations, so it's better to expect them to take very long, otherwise you'll get worried and starting thinking about helping, which can be fatal for the chick if done too soon. Expect them to take 24 hours every time and remember they sometimes pip externally a little prematurely, for lack of a better word, and they are nowhere near ready to come out yet. They just make the hole to breathe through. When they start start zipping, that's when they are ready to hatch. If they don't start zipping 24-30 hours after pipping externally and the chick looks like it's not going to come out, then you sit down and read through Sally's notes about assisted hatch. That'll take about another hour

and by then you may need to give the chick a little hand.
